Nasdaq Totalview?

Can anyone tell me how much you use TotalView and how helpful it really is?

Level II quotes are extremely important in understanding short-term price movement. Checkout Auction Markets, spread trading, and slippage.

 

if i sign up for total view, would i still need to get level 1?

 

totalview should include level 1, but that may depend on your data provider.

 

i see. would that be the same with NYSE Ultrabook? Would NYSE Level 1 be not needed if i get nyse ultrabook? thanks
