NASDAQ is broken

NQ 3100 stalled and toppy. sh*t meet fan.

 

They should have opened tomorrow.

 

Flash crash redo. Lots of busted trades tomorrow = huge losses for some traders.

 

Nope demand is high for NQ. I would be careful about Globex, it could really do a slippery move up on the levels. (out of longs already). Still lean bullish for tomorrow, I am directional only

 

huge mess on stocks. HUGE. still is. crossed\stalled quotes(arca specially)

 

Day traders are caught in their shorts. Somebody always loses.

 

It seems to me a lot of traders were net short before the halt... (I would have been if I was trading during that time..)

deadly if they chose to wait to break even..

sold most of my s**t. i have some pretty good screen shoots of this mess. boy oh boy..i hope that they finally learn at least SOMETHING from it.

 

They fixed it. What happened was a legacy Novell 3.12 server running the Novell SNA gateway crashed.

The SNA gateway communicates with a legacy IBM 360/195 mainframe that handles the displayed quotes for tape c.
