    I came across the dataset put together by Robert Schiller for S&P500 which is really interesting if looking at overall market valuation.

    There is also an interesting read in Fortune:

    Does anyone know where I can get earnings, EPS and PE data for the Nasdaq composite or Nasdaq 100, say for the last 15 years?
    What other investment vehicles are out there if not comfortable with the current stock valuations?

    You might have to find the individual companys' annual reports and work out the calcualtions yourself or you could look at their 10K reports at the SEC to get the data.

  4. IF you want cheap PE, better off with DOW, SPY;
    QQQ, nq, tech stocks tend to be sky HI most all the time.............................................................................................The WSJ does like to promote the cheap PEs, like the underperformer DOW\dia,DDM
    XLK is cheaper than QQQ [price , no idea ofthe PE]bought both myself, not QQQ lately..................................................................................................
