NASDAQ Composite Futures Contract

Discussion in 'Index Futures' started by CPTrader, Oct 10, 2003.

  1. Reports indicate that the CME will commence trading futures on the NASDAQ Composite Index on October 27th in E-mini format.

Currently only the NASDAQ 100 Index has a futures contract.

Why the need for this? Personally I think it will just reduce the liquidity in the NDX-100 or maybe it will have a still birth like the Fortune 100 contract.

    Any thoughts?

  2. probably because the new nasdaq composite etf was introduced -- ONEQ ---

  3. ...count your blessings. Those new contracts will intoduce more S/R levels to NQ.
