    ONE...…. of my cash tech etfs is still doing nice uptrends; but that is the one that is ''long online/short stores[100% long/ 50% short thru a bank swap/etf]''
    DOW/SPY tend to be down a bit in AUG/SEPT;

    More than 50 of the Nasdaq 100 have made a new high or multiple new highs in the last 3 months

  4. 1) Ponzi scheme is a form of the greater fool theory. it relies on a continuous supply of greater fools who are willing to buy into the scheme. Big moneys have pumped the NASDAQ. it's time for them to dump to take it down, then buy it back up again.
    2) the bad catalysts are just around the corner (with low visibility)... better stay out of the market. will get back in when the price is lower.

    That's part of it.
    Many other parts of it/ summer rally tends to be weakest in AUG/SEPT. Other parts include but not limited to;
    brokers like to hit sell/buy stops/amen,
    frankly we're overdue for a dip to 5o dma……………………………………………………………….
    I don't--- but some buy a spxs[spy x3bear] just because qqq is down/LOL.:D:D:D:D:D

  6. I think Mr. Trump's presidency unofficially is over. I don't think he has the energy and mindset to run for re-election. Mr Trump can't even motivate himself to be president again. let alone motivate other people to vote for him. Also, I think his base is tired of his "leadership". They wouldn't want to see the same old status quo (his failed leadership in many areas, it seems he likes to focus his attention on the trivial stuff).

    I think Mr. Biden's campaign was revived by Mr. Obama. Mr. Obama still has a lot of influence in the Democratic party. Then he'll help Mr. Biden to win the election. Mr. Obama will energize his old base that got him into the office twice. he's going to motivate his base to come out and vote. Probably, it's going to be a land-slide. Mr. Trump has turned non-emotional issues into emotional ones that would motivate people to come out to vote him out of the office :).

    With the unemployment situation, people want to change (people have seen billionaire doesn't care for the problems of the average joes), turnout would be huge. Trump's presidency and his agenda technically are over, the new king Biden will be crowned, and he'll carry on the Obama's agenda.

    Trump's second order of business, when getting voted in, was to get re-elected. It's a fucking game show to him, and he's in it to win it. If you think his first term was bad, and you think he has no energy now? Just wait and see if he wins in November. You ain't seen nothing yet.

    He can try to win but I think it's a lost battle already. I suppose the sporting thing for him and his die hard supporters to do is keep up the charade of trying until the bitter end. But will he accept defeat graciously or cause a stink like some of the posters on here will ?

    If he were somehow to win, it would just signal too many Americans have collectively lost their mind. The red flag for me I guess is how easily the US stumbled into 150,000 dead and counting on Covid, and how delusional many have been about the whole exercise. Surely these are outlier people though; America in 2020 can't possibly be this stupid.
