Last years momo stocks were RVBD, DIVX, MA, RIMM, etc. Quite a few. These stocks you could swing or daytrade through a range. They would always seem to have these swings up or down of 3% or more on many occasions. The funny part about last year was that Cramer would sometimes seem like the guy who would be the chooser of the momos. Stocks like RVBD and DIVX didnt seem to be popular until Cramer called the stocks out. Everytime he mentioned NYX in any context, the stock seemed to shoot up wildly. One show he stated that NYX would go to 250. The next day was one of the wildest days ever. I maxed out the leverage on that day with a stop-loss. Sold it all in the afternoon. It was a good percentage gain. The old momos still seem to have some wind, but the charts are getting tired. So what are the new momos? I see the solar and steel stocks are the ones that appear to want to move and swing through that channel with a vengence. Lets make this a learning experience. Throw up the momos here on this thread. Cramer already declared First Solar to be a momo.
