Agreed. It helps to have a plan in terms of when to enter and exit and how much to risk per trade. Once that is in place, your only job should be to execute and periodically re-asses.

This is a repeat: trading is only probabilities, you may get 50% correct. Winners & losers is all in the mix, treat them the same, no big deal either way.
Those who pat themselves on the back for a winning trade is crazy, because it just as much may have been a loser, it only takes a zephyr's breeze and the tables can turn.

Exactly. 7k for current volatility is not significant at all.

Also doing hedges, eg bounce in TQQQ vs breakout in SQQQ, ditto gold JDST vs NUGT.

Up just $490 so far today. Have open orders to scale in UVXY SQQQ VXX if they go up, with OTO trailing stops.

Up today for $490 so far; Ken are these trades called in real time so that we can see them and authenticate them? Are they in a live account or sim? Just wondering.

fdly12marup626.jpg Live real trades in real time, I screencapped them w P&L proof, ended up $600 profit, worked too hard for it tho... super small risk and stops

Overall I am very pleased given it was a non trending whipsaw day

    100% transparency, every trade today

  7. I'm right there with you trading small. I'd place 50 $100 trades over one $5000 trade any day. Gives you more room for error and forces you to develop a winning strategy over time.

Good luck with the journal. It'll be fun to watch in these markets. When I was first learning to day trade, I would only trade 3x leveraged stocks and vol stocks like these. Nowadays if I'm looking for a downmove I'll just trade futures or puts. The leverage is better for my style of trading and a lot cleaner without the same type of price decay.

Thanks, you make great points. Right re decay/contango on inverses/leveraged. Good idea re futures & puts.

Especially if the SEC passes their pending resolution to limit 3x and inverses coming up soon, see proshares site, www.fundcomments.com

Looking forward to trading inverses again this week. VXX SQQQ here I come...

Strategy) I'll mainly be doing alot of daytrading using trailing stops

Psychology) Knowing I'll be posting updates publicly is good pressure to trade more size.

Best wishes to all for a great trading week ahead!
