    Interesting article here. I recall seeing a biographical piece on Calvin Coolidge that mentioned his relationship with Hebert Hoover. Contrary to popular belief Hoover was not a laissez-faire
    business ideologist, but rather an engineer who thought he could work the economy like a tinker toy. Sort of an American version of the Soviet “Engineer of the Economy.” For those tendencies, Coolidge used to refer to Hoover as “The Wonder Boy”.
