With the 15min delayed Demo TWS feed it is very easy to generate profits and I can people understand who doubt mymini's results. But its also easy for him to prove his results as for real trading profits by showing his account statements. Now its on you myminitrading.

    Mymini,

While I was running my thread I had a lot of people coming in there and following it. Not one time did anybody ask for me to post my PnL. I stated in there early on that I don't believe in that and never did it. I don't really believe it does any good to post it. But I did give out my long and short signals before every trading day so everyone knew that if they lost then so did I. I also showed everyone how I got my signals. I don't agree that keeping a methodology secret is the key to success. If you are using a proven methodolgy chances are others are using it as well anyway. I know for a fact that the institution traders usually go with simple time tested methods and play the odds. So I always wanted to try an trade like them. Anyway the point I was trying to make is this. You don't have to post PnL to anybody.

  4. People wanted to see a PnL because he was being such an arrogant ass, and acting like he never had a down day (or at least, not much of one), despite the markets rather severe downturn in recent weeks, and his previous proclamation that "he only trades from the long side".

In as much as that is concerned, he is correct, he doesn't have to post his PnL, his signals, his methodology or anything else for that matter.

If you read throughout the thread, you will see that this thread was mainly for his own EGO boost, and to confirm that taking a consistent pattern of trading with a specific type of staggered money management would produce outsize positive results.

In that he has succeeded, and admirably so.

As well as, without actually writing down the code for his particular type of trading or spoon feeding it to anyone (at least not in the public forum), giving away a lot of the details of his strategy and tactics, without actually directly saying anything.

So, best of luck to'em, thanks for the thread, read it, and whatever you can glean from it (including any and all obscure references and analyzing the markets' behavior on the days that he had outsized gains as compared to the days when he didn't), do so.

    Later,

    Jimmy

  6. Got to wonder about this guy. ES closed @1258.00 so he has made 7.5 points in 6 trading days. 1.25 points per day is todays average, hummmmmm he seems pretty excited about this.

  7. That was posted yesterday though. Any simple trailing stop would have gotten the short covered near 1550 ish.

I don't know but I think 15 points per contract per week on the ES is pretty decent result.

  8. 3-5 points per day nothing wrong with that, Their is nothing wrong with 1 point per day if you could do it everyday.
