  2. I apologize to cscott because, months ago, I concluded that no trader could possibly be as unreasonable and as poorly informed as cscott appears to be, so that he must be a competitor of IB, who only pretends to be a customer of IB. I was wrong. He really is that unreasonable and poorly informed.

LOL. I see my 3 main detractors have spoken, kiwi, JimRockford, and ddunbar. The TRUTH will set you free guys! A bit of Intelligence might also help you three. :p

  4. We're not your detractors cscott. We think you're just the best thing. And telling the ET guys that they should let you pump penny stocks --- you are the king around here.

Keep doing us the favour of discouraging your kind from using IB ... the less the better ... no point wasting their customer service effort. Go for it. We just love you.

It's funny. Really. Jim and Kiwi have done more to not only help other traders on this site but also have been instrumental in improving IB's offerings.

    I'd call them... contributors.

What a crock! "Contributors" are not "Thread Destroyers", among other things. The REAL FACT here is that when someone tries to discuss an IB problem, you 3 people (ddunbar, kiwi_trader, and JimRockford) disrupt the thread by turning it into a personal attack so that others will stop responding to the topic. Further, you three people don't have sense enough to realize that your behavior here makes EliteTrader and IB look bad.

Anyone who needs to understand how loved Cscott should be only needs too check out his first 20 or so posts ... you will feel the warmth of his sensitivity and intelligence wash over you. You might be sad to know that the moderators removed every single one of your friend slimtradey's posts - most unreasonable. Share the feelings :)

  8. tws is not buggy.

one of the first signs of a PROFESSIONAL trader is the willingness/ability to take responsibility for one's own mistakes.

    obviously, you out yourself here.

second of all, it is easy to set a maximum contract size in TWS. unless you routinely trade this many contracts as you did in your "mistake trade", set the maximum size at a # you commonly trade, and you won't be fat fingering any more mistakes.

  9. No, the real truth is that the three of us, kiwi, ddunbar, and myself, have raised our own constructive criticisms of IB and triggered very many improvements, and we have encouraged others to do so, and we have defended others doing so from unfair attacks. We have also defended IB from unfair attacks, because it is in our best interest, as IB customers, to do so. I don't think we make IB look bad. I think cscott has been streaming false information about IB for months, which has done more than any other single person to make IB look bad.
