Who you think you are to say that??? What he is sharing is in fact very solid. His harmonic approach is very clever. You're judging him without let him end his explanations. How you can say he is or not is liying. Let people who has something relevant to say. The results he claim are not impossible. I know people that has done much more than that. But normally, such people will not post those results. You should have respect and grateful for someone that share it, because it's not very common. Unfortunately, comments like yours are.
Who cares!!! This is not relevant in any way. Nobody cares about where cr8or lives (nor your comments). For your fault cr8or go away, for comments like this. Do a favor to this community and go lose your time to another place.
Both volpri and Van_der_Voort_4 will be taking at least a 2-week vacation from this thread. To others, if things get off-topic or trolling again hit the Report button or send me a PM, don't let it get out of hand. Thanks.
Well, I was about to quit explaining my strategy, but in the light of the recent administrator involvement to keep trolls out of the thread, I will continue for people willing to know.
5. Entry signals based on EMAs Although many regard Moving Averages the tools of the past they are crucial indicators of PA. As you all know, PA above certain average is regarded as bullish and below as bearish. There are many kinds of MAs but I use only EMAs the exponential ones. I have seen traders using all kind of periods for MAs, but the most popular are 10, 21, 50, 100 and 200. I use none of these. The ones proved to be the most accurate for me are 3, 9, 5, 13, 55 and 89. All periods are Fibonacci numbers except for 9. The 3 and 9 are according to Tesla, the most significant numbers along with 6 which are keys to universe. I’m not going to elaborate more on 3, 6 and 9, plenty of resource on the net. As I said, I’m using 3 and 9 periods for EMAs which give me the entry signal. EMAs 5 and 13 are for confirmation (2nd entry). The 55 and 89 show me the trend and more than often are resistance and support. This is the final and key to go. Entry on EMA3/EMA9 cross, confirmation on EMA5/EMA13 cross, EMA55 and/or EMA89 for potential exit and reversal. These are my tools of the trade, combined they give you a very powerful strategy with very small losses and big winners. I promised to show you all tools in action on one example. Recent trade on Gold spot was a big winner by using exactly these tools. I will go through the whole process, from the weekly chart all the way to my exact entry and exit in the next post.
You are one of the few who are willing to describe your trading methodology in some detail. I will study what you wrote very carefully. However, whether the method works for me or not is actually not important. I appreciate the sharing. The fact is knowing the methodology may not make me a successful trader as the devil is in the details, but it does point me in a certain direction and I am sure I can incorporate some/all of it into my own trading methodology and this is what make ET such a good forum. Again, thank you for sharing and best wishes.
The long trade on Gold spot XAUUSD The 1st img. shows the Elliott Wave count on the weekly chart. The PA has made already Primary EW1 and EW2 of the new bullish sequence. Looking at Primary EW2 a new intermediate bullish sequence has also made EW1 and EW2 towards EW3 above 1300. PA is above both EMA55 and EMA89. It is obviously a bullish trend. On the bottom of the chart is the EWO (Elliott Wave Oscillator) which shows the high on EW1, pullback into EW2 and rising from negative to 0. EWO is confirmation of Primary EW2 in place. On the right side of the chart is my Volume Profile showing that PA is around the POC (Point Of Control). I draw in a channel connecting the lows and the high along with the median which should present some resistance. The daily chart img.2 shows PA above both EMA55 and EMA89, EMA3 above EMA9, in fact bullish trend. Here you see the harmonic Gartley pattern which should complete at 1291.55. For this to happen a daily close above 1264 (1263.98) is needed. Failing to do so, you have a double top and would send PA down. On the H4 chart img.3 you see how the EMA89 acts as support on the 2 recent lows. PA did make a new high regarding the high on EW1. At this point in time PA is between EMA55 and EMA89 which is a “killing zone” – no trading zone. When in this zone PA could go either way. H1 chart img.4 tells a bit different story. PA is below both EMAs 55 and 89, EMA9 above EMA3 – this is a bearish move in progress. Volume Profile (VP) shows PA around POC and a nice bearish flag pattern (long pole), but since PA made a new high we should not expect a new low but rather higher low, why I draw this yellow support Trend Line. The EW decomposed all the way from the weekly, now on H1 shows PA making the EW(ii) and the end of this wave must be above 1243.76 or the sequence gets invalidated. Img.5 PA marked the support Trend Line on M5. Bounce or Break! The EWO shows bullish divergence so I’m prepared to enter long, but waiting for signal EMA3/EMA9. Got the signal img.6 and went long at 1249.997 with 3 lots, stop 1247. Next I switch to M15 looking at EMA90 and EMA55 as possible resistance. Img.7 EMA55 broken if EMA89 can’t hold I’m good to hold this trade longer. Now you see a big bullish divergence on EWO and is about to go positive. Img.8 this is the moment when you ask yourself why haven’t you taken the profit at the high J. Because I believe it will go higher, much higher. The EW sequence is showing that EW3 should make a new high above 1271, but I’m ready to close on BreakEven and perhaps look for another entry. 8h in the morning, the trade has survived the night and I’m moving my stop to 1252.50. Observing the H1 chart and see a potential harmonic pattern – Alternate Bat completing at 1274.21. Now I have a target to go for and set target at 1274. 1257.22 needs to be conquered for pattern completion img.9 Img.10 trade going well, stop rolled to 1257.22 and looking for pattern completion...
…img.11 new high as predicted damn close to my target but I’m convinced it will hit target. Target hit at 1274, closed longs img.12 Entry and close from my platform – img.13 and img.14 Hope this was insightful and you managed to understand how my strategy works. It may look complicated but it’s very straightforward and hopefully you can incorporate it and make use of what I have explained in this thread. Cheers
