Hey sKalpZy...can you put in a good word for me at CitiBank? But then I would not be allowed to participate in Public Forums?
Who knows? He might lose those funds just as fast or faster. But there is no question that at the present time, the ecn structured globex market offers far less slippage for the individual trader for the major dollar crosses. There is just no reason to stay with paying 3-5 pip spreads each side once you've accumulated enough capital to trade in 1-lot futures increments (125K).
seems to me that the standardized futures contracts would be much more liquid and price determination would be more accessible to the speculator. If some traders on forex are low on capital, perhaps they shouldn't be trading and as well it wouldn't seem that the interest received would be much for those.
I trade one EUR/USD Globex contract for every 25k in my account. I disregard the exchange minimums-too risky. Cash sounds like a scam to me to sucker in underfunded traders.
but a lot of people aren't in the trades very long--are these numbers if you're in the currency continously?
I don't know ES. I will have to read up a bit on this. I can't imagine it being this easy to earn interest payments like that. One thing that a lot of us have surely learned is that there is no free lunch, so I am of course, skeptical. By the way, is your 2 to 5% including wins and losses on the trades?
