May I ask you how profitable are you since you made similar/same trades as he? I am not challenging you, just want to know since you are the one that followed his trades by making similar/same trades in real time in your account. If your results are good, it does lent support to his legitimacy.
Yes, Mav is a jewl but it seems he keeps away from the options forums as of recent. "Everything" is not already priced in. You just have to do better than the market(difficult but not impossible). The reason why threads like this catch traction is because they are simple to understand. Everyone want's to make that directional call on LULU. Optioninvestor is providng traction for people whose tires are wearing thin. There is SO much math/stats/economics that go on in the option world, it's hard to ever think about the world in a directional sense. Spend the next few days reading @sle work.
Ofcourse you are studying the thread. Do you know how many people have been studying this thread??? I have heard those exact lines like 10 times in the past month. EVERYONE want's to do what this guy did. Turn 2k into 150k in 9 months. Not just that. You guys wan't to do it with no math involved, no hard work just basic technical analysis and reading the daily news. This is unbelievable. I am not to sure why I am even posting on this. WOW.. I just realized. @optionsinvestor has only posted in "mytrades" thread. This guy literally started this thread to draw people in. @Baron check his PM's. Guaranteed he's charging for mentorships and not paying a marketing fee to you. Unbelievable. The "traders" that got sucked into this need to take a good long look in the mirror.
This thread hits deep on a psychological level. How is this thread different than the bible? There is 0 proof these trades actually happened (actually some evidence they did not) and yet people follow and try to live in the foot steps of "christ". Everyone want's to believe in something. Something that will keep them pushing through the days. Just like how Jonah got swallowed by the whale and made it out alive after 10 days, or how Moses turned the nile river into blood, people will still go to church on Sunday and believe every word. It's amazing to witness. Ps. I was raised in a catholic school and my family is very religious. Jennifer Lopez puts it the best. "Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got". You guys got fooled by the 2k - 150k in 9 months!! Truly amzing
I did not follow his trades but, followed the thread. My method is different than his. The value of this thread for me is looking at areas in my trading I can improve on. His only call I took because I liked the chart was the JPM calls but, the call strike was different. He had the $115.00 Call, I bought the $116 Call. He has closed that trade. I still have mine open. Occasionally, some ticker symbols of his will match with mine like FB and NVDA. However, I have taken reversal trades that he did not. I took reversal trades on both FB and NVDA. Also, I have other trades he does not have like AEO, RUN. So, pretty much my trading is the same as it was. Some good ones like NVDA, FB just starting to move lower, RUN starting to move lower but, a huge loser for me still, AEO got hit with a gap down but, seems to be moving higher, November call so, no hurry to sell, JPM bottoming still so, still hanging on also, with a loss. I botched the exit on FB which cost me in profits, a small profit instead, of a large one. Same with the NVDA calls which I should have hung onto longer. Got 104% instead of 400%.
If you know how to trade and actually, trade the stockmarket, BS only goes so far! Not all the trolls and their BS is going to make sense. This thread has been pretty transparent and as you noted match with the stockcharts if you only check. Problem with the trolls, charlatans is they have no clue on how to trade so, cannot figure it out even if you handed it to them on a silver platter! Ignorance, coupled with jealousy. That is what this is! They cannot stand anyone doing good when, they are miserable in their utter ignorance!
