Bandit, not sure what you try to convey in this thread. Are you planning to share some ideas of your strategies without going into too much detail? I have 2 automated strategies running on fx but look into a stock system for some time now. You mentioned your strat is event driven? Care to elaborate? I use Amibroker for backtesting and my ATS is running on Smartquant connecting to Interactive Brokers. Have you ever considered them? I find execution of my fx trades to be very reliable and after trying with other platforms the slippage I experience with IB has been lower than with all other brokers I tried.

So, would you be interested in sharing a bit more about what your strategies are based on? Happy to share my fx strat thoughts. PM me if you feel more comfortable doing so.
