I might be off topic but better than opening 18 threads, lecturing people about how rigged the system is, how you created multi legged super strategies with your own greeks...
re-inventing the wheel when you haven't read your first book yet.

And instead of studying from the history on this option section, you create a thread with any idea that pops into your newbie mind.

Your content is deceiving and I'd bet money you are earth_imperator.

Please block me, I can't even be bothered to do it myself lol

Are the 18 threads all about the same thing? Nope, they are about different topics, fully legal then.
But since you are off-topic, even intentionally, with your above posting, I now am for sure blocking you! Enjoy! Bye bye!

    New insights:
ExtendedCollar and SuperCollar both have a similar PnL diagram like the much simpler and cheaper "Short Put Ladder" (SPL), but I've yet to analyze whether SPL can be used also for high IVs as it very much seems to work best with low IVs only, but which then of course is not our target for "event trading" (FDA decisions etc).

First results of the analysis of the Short Put Ladder (SPL):
It works for highIV too, but only if DTE is very short (upto 1 or 2 weeks).
Then it should work also for 0DTE! :)
SPL is theoretically even a NetCredit construct (cf. img below) :), need to analyze it some more, but looks already very interesting & promising...
But: whether it's cheaper than SuperCollar is not yet decided, especially when done in a CashAcct. But is maybe not that important.

I think the World Markets will collapse soon b/c of such trading-WMDs, and it will be my guilt... I'm the new Oppenheimer :)

Not generally, but only for event trading, ie. if the expected event will happen during the remaining lifetime of the option(s)...

    Btw:
A Short Call Ladder (SCL) is literally the vertical mirror image of the Short Put Ladder (SPL), meaning SCL favors a sharp rising stock, whereas SPL favors a sharp falling stock.

Here's the ShortCallLadder (SCL), and below it 2 improvements by me for EventTrading (ie. for high ATM IV): ExtendedShortCallLadder (ExtSCL) and AlternativeExtendedShortCallLadder (AltExtSCL). The latter one can be used in CashAcct.
These ShortCallLadder constructs, and also the ShortPutLadder constructs (see next posting), are much easier applicable than the ExtendedCollar and SuperCollar constructs.
The Extended ones are better suited for EventTrading b/c the 2 B/E points are closer to S.

As said, the Extended ones are recommended as they are better suited for EventTrading b/c the 2 B/E points are much closer to the current stock price.
