Concerning collective2, you will notice i put a high figure for the monthly subscription. This is because at this time I do not want any subscribers. If I get subscribers I have to update my ninjatrader to the multibroker version. I am holding off on doing so until I know for sure that is what I want to do, and to give the strategy some time to be recorded independently by collective2. The trades are set to be viewable as soon as they are closed though. For those of you interested in seeing them. Depending how things go, I may eventually lower the price and accept subscribers. Hope everyone understands, that at this time its not on collective2 for me to get subscribers.
I didn't realize there was such a high premium for trading systems which were designed by guys who can't trade. There should be a way of not accepting any subscribers if that is what you want to do. Otherwise you will be accepting subcribers for a system which is unproven and in all likelihood will break at its first stress test. I (or a few other folks around hereabouts) could have filled in the blanks that are missing in your trading logic ... but boy oh boy am I glad we didn't. Go ahead boy, get your hustle on.
If there is a way to not accept any subscribers, tell me how. I would much rather have it set to not accept subscribers than to have to set the subscription fee so high. I figure where I set it should make no one in their right mind subscribe. I am merely trying to use collective2 as an independent audit so to speak. An unbiased look at how the strategy performs
Unfortunately, I just realized when you set it to not accept any subscribers it does not let ANYONE see it. Which sort of defeats the purpose. So I can not use that method to stop subscribers.
C2 is set up so that you almost can't find out what they are talking about without adding a system.. so I did... I've never sent it a signal yet... there are about all of ten systems there that have equity curves and returns that look ok out of a total of 6500 or so systems..
No trades again today. I can already see everyone running in showing profit figures and saying "Game Over"... but that doesn't matter. Hopefully by now people realize this bot is not meant to compete with anyone or anything. Especially discretionary traders. Its meant to MAKE money taking about 1 trade every 3 or 4 days.
The other "SCT child" on C2 made 15 trades today (and also a bunch yesterday): http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/systems.mpl?want=publicdetails&systemid=34469863 Seems like a big difference between the siblings.
haha... thats the beauty of autotraded systems.. it has strict rules that have to be meet... rules aren't met no trade... some my look at that as a bad thing.. as long as it makes money over the long run, won't matter
