The market cap was greater on Fri and that was the cut-off for the 500M requirement. Anything that qualified on Fri is fair game and anything that didn't isn't.
CNBC (sic) maybe got the idea of a million dollar annuity from former Sec of Treasury Paul O'neil. Paul suggested for the gov to purchase an annuity for every child at birth and that would be paid for by annuities for the persons retirement at 65 and the annuity would be inflation adjusted. Acturaries cincluded a program like that would be far cheaper to the taxpayers.
My order went through as well, I didn't think it would go through since NEW <$500M market cap. I put an order in for 300k shares, and let CNBC fill me at the exact number given the closing price. Long 219298 shares of NEW +28%. I wonder how many people did the exact same thing..
same here...will dump and move into something else to mix it up. I'm sure some will hold onto it but I don't trust it... I think in the fine print it says just as long as it starts the competition 500M or higher, you're okay.
