Maybe i am just jealous but i trade futures and i seem too have a track record very poor compare too you ( 14 winners vs 2 looser). Can you help me.....
Sure, its very simple really. You have probably noticed I gradually build position (usually 2 entries). Now... my first entry is almost always too early and market goes against me, so what you should do is make note of my first entry and wait for the second one which is usualy much better. In other words my second entry should be your first, and even than use only 50% of intended capital for the trade to be ready for second entry. Look at eur/jpy, I just shorted 158.92 and this is unlikely the top, my second short lot should come at least 50 pips higher, say 159.40 and that should be your first short. Simple isn't it
But I don't trade much so you will probably be bored. Sometimes I don't even check my positions for days... helps to reduce stress level
Added one more lot here at 1.1718, avg long now 1.1738. Looks like the market doesn't like cad any more, this is going to test 1.18 soon, and perhaps higher later.
