I took 40 pts and closed out yesterday. While I still believe we can go further, maybe the time is not right now. So wait and see.
For the Euros Im short since this week: Eur/aud 1.6256 Eur/gbp 1.9818 Eur/cad 1.6879 But I also have some long term positions on other crosses.
Hey guys Ok, for this week here are my positions. Short - USD/JPY at 117.985 Long - EUR/USD at 1.18310 Still long AUD/USD How about everyone else? Good luck in the new years! -Kastro
Well, I'm trying out my new short to midterm strategy. Lets hope its consistent... Im still short these EUR crosses: Eur/aud 1.6256 Eur/gbp 1.9818 Eur/cad 1.6879 EUR/jpy 139.27 The Eur crosses are doing well but I am currently stinking at my other crosses: Long: aud/jpy @ 86.32 aud/us @.7335 chf/jpy @89.47 gbp/chf @2.26.08 gbp/jpy @202.41 gbp/usd @1.7200 nz/us @ .6823 Since these positions arent intraday in length Im going to wait till Thur/Fri. to see how I do. As for you Kastro, I am in the same trades like you but different entry prices: Short - USD/JPY at 117.80 Long - EUR/USD at 1.1836 Long AUD/USD at .7335 So far I am still trying to decide exactly where my stop losses will be. S/L are placed around support and resistance for now. I will eventually put tight trailing stops. Kastro, do you mainly decide based on tech. analysis, fund., news, or all of the above?
A little from all of above, but most of my trades are based on T/A with some input from F/A. How about you? I think EUR/USD will drop a little, but soon we will see it rise towards 1.1900 -Kastro
The trading (entry/exit) rules are based on T/A. I also look at news and fundamentals if it is intraday trading but so far most of my success has been with following T/A. As for the EUR/USD, I hope it drops only little since I have a long positon. Gonna hold it for a week unless my stop is taken out.
