Mike Lindell Admits MyPillow Can't Get Back $65M in Revenue Lost Due to Trump Ties https://www.newsweek.com/mike-linde...-back-65m-revenue-lost-due-trump-ties-1580966 MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell admitted in a recent interview that his company won't be able to get back all of the $65 million in lost revenue that has come as a result of his close ties to former President Donald Trump and its promotion of groundless conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. More than 20 retailers have removed MyPillow products from their shelves since January, among them Sam's Club, Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Lindell first told Insider in February that his company had lost $65 million in revenue. In a follow-up interview published on Sunday, the MyPillow CEO said that chunk of change was not coming back. "We obviously can't get that back, we're going to lose that," Lindell told Insider. However, he said the company is working on a strategy to recoup at least some of the loss. The businessman pointed to growing revenue from podcast and radio ads. "We're going to look at other strategies to try and get that revenue back," he said. "We're looking at every space for that." "We've expanded so much in radio and podcast, that's our biggest expansion right now," the Trump loyalist continued. "It's just booming right now. We hope that that makes up a lot of it." Lindell previously told The New York Times that his company earned over $300 million in revenue in 2019. Like Trump, the MyPillow CEO continues to push the false narrative that the 2020 election was "rigged" or "stolen" by President Joe Biden and the Democrats. This extraordinary claim has been thoroughly litigated, with dozens of election challenges brought by Trump and his supporters failing in state and federal court. Even judges appointed by the former president as well as other Republicans have rejected the baseless allegations. In November, shortly after the presidential election was called by the media, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency at the Department of Homeland Security—which was led by a Trump appointee—described the election as the "most secure in American history." It added that "there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised." Former U.S. Attorney General William Barr, who was widely viewed as one of Trump's most effective and loyal Cabinet members, said in early December that there was "no evidence" of widespread fraud that would change the election's outcome. Recounts and audits in multiple battleground states—including some overseen by Republicans who voted for Trump—have all reaffirmed the presidential election results. But Lindell continues to claim that he has evidence of massive fraud. "All of the evidence I have, everything that is going to go before the Supreme Court and the election of 2020 is going bye-bye," the MyPillow CEO said during an interview late last month with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon's War Room: Pandemic podcast. Lindell predicted that Trump "will be back in office in August." Meanwhile, Lindell is facing a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, which the businessman and other Trump allies have repeatedly claimed was involved in the alleged plot to "rig" the election. Newsweek reached out to MyPillow for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Let's not forget someone else will figure out if sheeple are willing to pay huge sums for a pillow, they can also sell a fancy pillow and make money. His market is going to be eaten down to nothing.
MyPillow's Mike Lindell has big plans: More movies — and Trump back in the White House Lindell's company may lose $65 million this year, and he faces a massive lawsuit. At least he's got Diamond & Silk https://www.salon.com/2021/04/09/my...re-movies--and-trump-back-in-the-white-house/
Wondering when the movement to have him removed as CEO starts from within the company...might be hard if he and fmaily are sole owners. But when business starts drying up and debts start piling up, the bankruptcy court will take care of that real quick.
My Pillow CEO claims he’s a victim of ‘bots and trolls’ https://nypost.com/2021/04/07/mike-lindell-claims-bots-and-trolls-behind-my-pillow-petition/ My Pillow guy Mike Lindell claims that “bots and trolls” are behind a popular petition urging major retailers to cut ties with his company — and he’s hired private eyes to prove it. In an interview with The Post, Lindell blasted as fake a Change.org petition that’s racked up about 105,000 signatures demanding Amazon, Walmart and Costco stop selling his My Pillow products over Lindell’s continued efforts to sow doubts over Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election. “This petition was put up by companies that are full of bots and trolls,” Lindell told The Post on Wednesday. “All they’ve done is attack retailers. These are hired groups to attack retailers.” Asked what evidence he has for his claims, Lindell admitted he’s still trying to dig that up. He pointed instead to Facebook profiles with “zero friends” that have left negative comments on pages belonging to “retailers that were attacked before.” “I’ve hired investigators out of my own pocket, huge companies to investigate who’s behind these because somebody ordered these attacks,” the embattled CEO said. “Change.org, they’re probably another attack group. We’re gonna find out who’s doing this to our country.” Change.org, an online petition company with 400 million users, shot down Lindell’s claims, saying the MyPillow campaign was started by a real person and that all the signatures are authentic. The company also noted that other users have started petitions supporting Lindell. “Our engineering team puts significant resources toward spam detection and prevention, from removing fake or inactive emails and verifying the authenticity of our users’ email addresses to monitoring petitions for suspicious signatures,” a Change.org rep told The Post in a statement. “If we are made aware of any fraudulent signatures, we remove them immediately — and in this case, we can confirm that the signatures on this petition are not fraudulent.” “Bots and trolls” are a common bogeyman for Lindell. He’s previously blamed them for boycott threats against My Pillow and alleged in January that Dominion Voting Systems — which is suing him for $1.3 billion over his false accusations that the company stole votes — hired “bots and trolls and went after all my vendors.” Lindell’s repeated claims that the 2020 election was stolen from ex-President Donald Trump has already resulted in some 22 retailers dropping My Pillow products, which he has estimated cost him about $65 million in sales. The Change.org petition, launched by California man James Lanigan in mid-January, calls for the nation’s largest retailers to stop selling MyPillow products, including Bed Bath & Beyond, which has previously said it would phase out the products. “Time to tell our major retailers to stop selling his products,” the petition reads. “We will not support funding insurrectionists!” Lanigan responded to The Post’s query by texting, ” I am not a bot. I have been busy with nursing school and just finished clinicals.” His Change.org profile describes him as “just a guy living in California that has progressive values and wants to save the environment.” Lindell also told The Post that he’s preparing to bring his own lawsuit against Dominion next week accusing the voting-machine firm of quelling free speech with a slew of defamation complaints. But he said he did not know where the case would be filed. “They suppressed free speech by suing — I don’t know how many now, it could be hundreds of lawsuits and threats to individuals and stations like Fox News,” Lindell said. Dominion did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
'Whaaatever'.... on the man's politics. Give credit where credit is due. If what I've read is true, his story is pretty cool. I guess in this chapter however, he got suckered in by Trump's charm. For real one can't even call it a chapter, it's more like when a book has a new 'part'. Like "part 3" or something. But whatever on that. He probably has more money than most of you, and the man has done a lot of good work. He's helped families with their bills that through no fault of their own, went through the roof for a sick kid. So say what you want. He's an easy target. Christ Saturday Night Live could spoof him from here to eternity. In the end, the man pulled himself up from a really bad place, and then went on to achieve a level of success that unbelievably merits a bunch of schmucks here on ET, myself not included, giving him 18 pages and 176 posts worth of their time.
Then why did he get so fucktarderdly stupid and put all that fortune at risk sucking the trump vagina.... What he did in the past becomes irrlevant when he is about to lose it all just because he felt God is giving him messages. We used to put people in hospitals when they claimed to hear voices.
Did he hear voices? Well like I said, perhaps 'part three' 3 in this man's saga. As an aside, you know one thing I've noticed here though(?), there's a lot of Christian bashing by several posters. I mean that's all well and good, to each their own, but what's funny is not once, never, have I heard our in house 24/7 cast of characters bash the Muslim faith. They're just as devout to their god. Right? It just goes to show you that as whole, these people (not you) go through life unable to see the forest for the trees. If you're gonna be a devout atheist and mock Christians in public, well by god mock all the world's religions instead of playing the suck-up extreme liberal that only sings the company song dictated by their board of directors. Why is that Ocho?
They are all keyboard tough guys. If a Muslim posts pro-Muslim, they'll respond to them, via the keyboard, with the same vitriol. They'll even attack each other, given enough time and a lack of religious people to attack; it's their nature.
