Dominion files $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell https://www.axios.com/dominion-mike-lindell-defamation-aed0d355-6eee-4a61-b3ca-2a5ecfeefb57.html Dominion Voting Systems on Monday sued MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for more than $1.3 billion in damages, alleging that the Trump ally exploited the baseless conspiracy theory that Dominion's voting machines rigged the election for Joe Biden to sell more pillows. The big picture: Lindell is the latest Trump ally to face a multibillion-dollar lawsuit from Dominion or Smartmatic, another voting machine company subjected to a campaign of false claims about the election. Pro-Trump lawyers Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani have each been sued by Dominion for $1.3 billion in damages. Earlier this month, Smartmatic sued Powell, Giuliani, Fox News and some of the network's top hosts for $2.7 billion. Lindell, who received a cease-and-desist letter from Dominion in January, told Axios at the time: "I want Dominion to put up their lawsuit because we have 100% evidence that China and other countries used their machines to steal the election." What they're saying: "Lindell’s statements have exposed Dominion to the most extreme hatred and contempt. Lindell himself called it the “biggest crime ever committed in election history against our country and the world," Dominion wrote in its 115-page complaint. "Acting in concert with allies and media outlets that were determined to curry favor with one of their biggest sponsors and to promote a false preconceived narrative about the 2020 election, Lindell launched a defamatory marketing campaign about Dominion that reached millions of people and caused enormous harm to Dominion." "Through discovery, Dominion will prove that there is no real evidence supporting the Big Lie. Dominion brings this action to vindicate the company’s rights, to recover damages, to seek a narrowly tailored injunction, to stand up for itself and its employees, and to stop Lindell and MyPillow from further profiting at Dominion’s expense." I hope Mike lets the lawsuit go forward and brings his shitty evidence up in court... it is a civil proceeding, not a criminal one. If he cannot show with any certainty any truth to his claims against Dominion (which he cannot) then the jury can find for Dominion and award full damages..... in other words, My Pillow idiot bankrupts his whole company and puts all those workers out of work just because he is high on the trump cock.
I dont havbe a WAPO subscription but just look at the head line.. Funny how trumptards have not objected to the Congressional races on the same ticket where GOP won or understand that trump got more votes in counties using dominion in many cases.... Facts are a funny thing... All of the MyPillidiots going down a fucktarded rabbit hole and will all get wiped out financially backing this guy I bet. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...-dominion-voting-machines-mostly-voted-trump/
Mike Lindell is actually a CEO of a company. Tony Stark is what again? An ET troll? So, who should we listen to and believe?
Nobody is going to sue me for everything I've got.I would never risk everything I have for a piece of shit like Trump.I was never a crack head.
Dominion Voting Systems Savagely Takes Down MyPillow Guy in Opening Statement of Lawsuit Over Election Fraud Claims https://secondnexus.com/mike-lindell-mypillow-dominion-sued MyPillow founder Mike Lindell is one of former President Donald Trump's most vocal supporters, and he continues to broadcast the absurd lie that the 2020 presidential election was "stolen" from the 45th President. The culprit, according to Lindell, was Dominion Voting Systems, the election software company that's become a prime target for conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. Lindell repeated the fantasy that Dominion worked with Democrats to switch Trump votes to votes for now-President Joe Biden. As with most conspiracy theories, the claim isn't based in reality. In fact, Trump won an overwhelming majority of the counties that used Dominion. But thanks to lies like that of Lindell's, Dominion's reputation has taken a hit. As a result, Lindell is the latest person the company has served with a lawsuit for a whopping $1.3 billion. Dominion cites Lindell's numerous social media posts and television appearances where he repeated the lie that Dominion worked with Democrats and foreign entities to steal the 2020 election. The elections company didn't hold back in its opening statement, tying Lindell's lies to his need to sell pillows. Counsel for Dominion wrote: "As when MyPillow previously faced legal action for deceptive marketing campaigns, Lindell knew there was no real 'evidence' supporting his claims. ... But Lindell—a talented salesman and former professional card counter—sells the lie to this day because the lie sells pillows." The statement goes on to cite the numerous discounts and incentives MyPillow's website offered to Trump supporters, one of which told users to type the code "QANON" for $45 off. QAnon is the deranged conspiracy theory that the 45th President was sent to expose a secret network of satanic, cannibal pedophiles secretly controlling the United States government. People weren't sad to see Lindell be held accountable for his constant lies about the election. (More Tweets and information in article at above url)
https://www.businessinsider.com/mypillow-ceo-mike-lindell-dominion-lawsuit-losing-money-2021-2?amp MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell says he expects to lose $65 million in pillow revenue this year because of retailer boycotts over his claims that the 2020 US election was rigged. That projection, Lindell told Insider in an interview Monday after being served with a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems seeking $1.3 billion in damages, is evidence he isn't pushing election-fraud claims for the money. "I lost 20 retailers, and it's cost me $65 million this year that I won't get back, OK?" Lindell told Insider. "There's your story. Print it right. Don't try and twist this."
