Hello Mr. PaduTrader/TraderGod, a real trooper you are, "never give up" would be the motto. Maybe you can mention all the tools/resources you use to make a decision on a buy/sell position. I am sure someone will help you. I don't do indicators, for instance my resources are trendlines, countertrendlines, fibs, patterns and 97% of the time just using one timeframe. My trading is better now that I've started to trade NQ :). GoodLuck.

So we have identified the problem.
In the past 20 years, did you ever tried to develop your own system/way for multiple months/years of trading or did all you try to do was copying/buying all the systems you could get your hands on and try them for a few weeks and moved on to the next one?

I could give you a profitable system and you would probably still lose money with it, you have to find your own way. Stop trying to copy what others are doing, this will most likely never work out.

i am not trading for the money at all after all these years.

i am 61 years and when i get up i want something to do....something go keep me from sleeping all day or drinking all day-i drink for 4 hours a day.
Also for the last ten years i have been reading Brooks :he says if you are a trader you must trade.
i do not think anyone can keep making trades continuously :the market is not simply tradeable all the time.i liked it because i was looking to pass the time,to have something to do,to be productive all the time.....but after losing money for ten years i do not think it is feasible or practical strategy.

actually for the last ten years i have been trying to trade Brooks way.....i have got financially killed because Brooks way is no system at all.
Also i have had a big problem with implementing a risk management strategy i should concentrate on this critical aspect

    Hi Padu,

why not spend some time learning to program and backtest strategies? You can still find some strategies that work although they don't make a killing. This will help you pass time and also learn something new. You can probably learn programming very cheaply from a local college. It will open another universe for you.

RDK91 has it correct and my guess is you are possibly quite knowledgable now on TA, just you can't get it to work for you.
It's at this point now to no longer follow any trading guru, sit down on your own and devise your own system. All these years will have taught you quite a great deal, it is not wasted, now MAKE IT YOUR OWN.
No more reading books, no more studying other people's methods, just you and the data, work out a plan.
Hopefully you have good charting software to create your own methods.
If not, all is not lost, it is still possible to be profitable without a trading software package,
You may need spreadsheets in that case.
However intraday trading.....this is something I would avoid in trying to get liftoff.
