  2. They took some bites, eh? SP500 is not out of the woods yet, needs a good print at the open otherwise it will track sideways and look to test 1215. I'll give MON room to breathe inside $71.52-$72.66 but if it trades under $71.70 for a solid half hour i may initiate a short position.

Anyone here actually traded today? It would be great if someone can share some real trades. If it is just some prediction of how a stock might go, it should be in the stocks forum.

This thread "My Options Play" has over 100 pages, and the number of trades that actually took place is less than 10. And that is already including the trades from Hajimow and Iceman.

This is not the Yahoo message board. Instead of looking for someone to hand you a fish try learning how to fish for a change. The value of many of the non-trade related posts related to the various sundry elements of options trading by far exceeds any bought here sold here post.

btw, I think GOOG is about to top out. It's been trying to break above 400 past several days and the demand is not there at these levels. I think it could pullback hard once funds complete sending out 4th qtr reports. I'm calling 405 tops based on past few days activity.

I agree with both your points.:)

GOOG gives signs of getting tired in all time frames. I think it is due to a retracement toward $370. On a price confirmation I'll buy the Dec 370/430 put bear spread.

So far GOOG defied all bearish predictions ...

  6. I will continue with my picks....

Waiting on APA to end its ordeals. I've taken a loss of $5,000 on the short leg and will likely incur more losses on the remaining short leg if APA continue to rise. Will see how the long side pans out.

So far, TA rules work perfectly but human elements can't be tamed!

No greed or fear in this case, problem is overconfidence!

Uninvited_guest/qqqq - sorry, I won't ever see your posts again!

  8. Original Trade:
Buy 40 contracts APA Nov 65 Calls @ $3.00 present value
Sell 35 contracts APA Nov 60 Calls @ $4.00 present value

I assume the long calls have been sold? And 1/2 the short calls still open? Insane trade so close the expiration. Not in right frame of mind when this trade was opened.

I have 21 open positions now and most of them will be exercised or expire this month. I am waiting to see what happens on Friday close. But just to let you guys know that I sold 2 naked calls for HD 42.5 Noiv at 0.15. Now my positions on HD are:
    1- 2 short PUT 40 Nov sold @ 0.1
    2- 2 short CALL 40 Nov sold @ 1.4
    3- 2 short CALL 42.5 Nov sold @ 0.15
    4- 2 short PUT 42.5 Nov sold @ 0.8

I entered order No 2 early and the the rest were to reduce the loss. I wish HD closes at 42.55 and on Monday it hits below 42.50. I like to be short on Friday and be able to cover on Monday.
Wow GM is falling. Anyone interested in buying PUT?

  10. I just noticed a week old thread on GM, looks like GM is in a lot of trouble.

I might buy some Dec20 Puts.
