  1. You're also right but with right technology, intraday is the best way to go, although I won't recomend day-trading to any options trader.

    Why?

The options trader will give up sooner than he thought. So frustrating!

  2. Spot on! With profits of 0.50 - 0.80 on 100 contracts every 2-3days translates into 5K - 8K (20K -32K/month). That was what I launched to experiement, but falling asleep on PC (lol) while trying to capture intraday moves is daunting.

  3. Interesting, thanks !!

I have decided not to trade for profit anymore, but to execute my trading plan to the best of my abilities, and at the same time have fun and not drive myself crazy like I did last year.

Money or profits should be a good side effect from trading, not it's goal.

Feeling happy and relaxed all day, everyday, is the way to go for me.

    Cheers !!

Multioption, I remember you started again with 100K in 2006. I just remember you posted two losses. How much were they? And did you post any other trades after those two?

Looking forward to your new trades.

  5. Novel20, I've been trading behind the scene, surprisingly I am doing well. I intend to resume posting my trades on ET this week.

Account was down by $7k but with some trades especially NTES, a little over 45K was realized in profits, but I couldn't make noise about since it wasn't posted on ET.

  6. You still can, by posting a pic of your Account activities like you did before. Congrats in advance!

  8. I am more patient than ever.

I am looking at AET and OXM for Calls and entry point.

I shall update beginning from this week.

I looked at AET and OXM charts too. Both seem poised for short term upside.

AET: I'd expect for a small pull back in the next 1-2 days to ~92.5 to enter long with a profit target of ~$3 and a stop of $1.

OXM: It seems to have resolved its recent deep retracement, and I'd enter long now ~$45 with a profit target of ~$3 and a stop loss about $44.5.

Great choices! It seems you caught two nice (at least short term) turn arounds.

  10. lol..well it is a breakthrough for me because one of my associates finally came up with a filter for stockfetcher.com that works just fine for uptrend based on my criteria. I believe I'm set for action pending the time work on my software is completed. Without the filter, I'd probably keep falling asleep on my desk in an attempt to search for trades...lol
