My option trades

  1. Its amazing how bullish traders are. Even with 3 consecutive down days, the VIX has only moved 2-3 points up!
    (see attached 5 day VIX chart)

  3. Any bets that the SPY makes it up to the Pivot Point (Brown Line)
    by the close today? (see attached 5 day chart of SPY pivot points)

  5. Bought 10 contracts QQQ Mar29 2012 67.00 puts QQQ Mar 2012 67.00 puts @ $0.08. I'm going for a 10x return, markets are showing weakness.

  6. I suppose after a couple of weeks and I get into trading Calendar´s with any success, I shall have to learn how to do risk control through gamma and vega adjusting? At the moment it is just a cloud on the horizon threatening rain.
    I haven´t yet a clue!

    .80 cents for the trade, $60 for the commissions? PUTS

    Expires tomorrow?

    That should be interesting.

  8. Total cost is $80.00 plus $35.00 commissions, expires tomorrow. I'm expecting a 1%+ pullback on the QQQ.

    That trade would have cost you 10 X .50 = $5.00 commission with IB.
    USD 0.05 =< Premium < USD 0.10 USD 0.50 per contract

    Your eating a lot on this cheap option trades to excess commissions.
