  2. I've probably posted close to 2 dozen real time trades between this and Ryan's thread.
You seem to be of the impression that I just get in the mood to do a trade and post it.
You have absolutely no idea how many stocks I review and reject for every stock I select.
It's a long, tedious, and boring practice.
I'm not going to spend (waste) even more time sorting out which are rejected for technical reasons, not enough credit reasons, or reasons of debt, value, excessive volatility, ect....
Once a stock is rejected, I don't keep looking for additional reasons to reject it.

Believe me, it's a lot easier to find junk than quality.
As you might imagine, junk pays better than quality.
Hence the reason so many option traders are attracted to it.
(Hence the reason there are so many "ex-option traders".)
Famous last words..... "Gee, that hedged trade looked so good on paper!"

  6. Slow down there cowboy you are getting your panties in a bunch, the original ten are more than enough. Too early to tell if the market agrees with you. Will have to watch them over the next year.

  7. Brighton

    Brighton

This will be old news to some but maybe not to others...

Those screeners frequently spit out junk when it comes to ADRs, so in the case of FMX (Coca-Cola bottler, brewer and owner of Mexico's largest convenience store chain), you might want to check into the real numbers before betting for or against it.

Examples of screener errors with ADRs:

*stale info based on annual or half-year reports rather than quarterly,
*don't convert to USD, or use foreign currency in one area and USD in another,
*don't factor in the correct ADR to "native stock" ratio,
    *y mucho mas.

FinViz puts the FMX market cap between JPMorgan and BHP Billiton. While los gorditos en Mexico certainly love their Coca-Cola (highest per-capita consumption in the world), they haven't consumed to the point that FMX is worth $163 billion USD.

  8. So, what was your point in asking then, a$$clown? You just intend to recall this post in a year and see how it worked out?

    You tool.

  10. Sold naked put on $11 ATVI for October.
    Credit $0.15
    Annualized % return..... 22%

This is mostly a technical trade vs my usual blend of fundamental and tech.
The fundamentals are a blend of good and so-so, but more mixed than I'm comfortable with. Thus I'm basing the reasoning behind this trade, more on technical than fundamental analysis.
The 2 year chart below shows reasonable tech support in the $10.5 - $11 area. And with my BE price of $10.85, I'm comfortable with that.

Earnings come out Nov 8th. Thus didn't want to risk holding it for a Nov contract.
