The last two 19" Dells I had around cost 14$ each, were working fine when I gave them away.

Are you talking to me? If so, you are a moron, and do not know how to read. I typed that I have limited desk space and can only replace my current 19" monitor with another 19" monitor.

Now...If you wish to take a FRACTION of one of your innumerable 6 figure days and send that money to me to expand the size of my bedroom through carpentry and stuff, sure, I will take you up on that offer so I can utilize what apparently is the latest and greatest in monitor technology.

If you refuse to part with your millions of dollars you have made this year to help me expand my desk space?

Then you can simply have a steaming hearty cup of STFU, and let we lads, who are wee lads in your view, discuss 19" monitors.

    Capiche'?

You could still buy a 28 or 32 inch and use it in portrait mode o_O

I would also suggest moving out of your cramped childhood bedroom and asking your mom if you can move into her basement instead. There is more room down there :D

  8. This is actually something I've seen in some companies. Normally you lack of horizontal space but have plenty of vertical, so you can set your monitors to stack windows on top of another. That way you build a grid of 4 windows with minimal horizontal space.

  10. Right. A 27" monitor in portrait mode is about the same size as 2x 19" on top of each other.
