My new constitution

  1. 1. I will make no single purchase over 100 USD in any blue state.

    2. I will no longer donate to charities located in blue states.

    3. I will now make all purchases over the internet over ebay and not pay taxes.

    4. I will no longer do business, travel or make any transaction in any blue state.

let's leave the blue states to pick up the bill, let's see how it goes when the real taxpayers just stop spending and paying the bill.

    Boycott on.

I like the idea, but unless a substantial number of the 48.8% of taxpayers left get on board. It's not going to make much difference.

Brilliant! I'll will adopt all of your propositions. Every one of them!

I'm even going to buy *Dogfood* out of state and have it shipped.

I will pay a premium and pay for shipping to deny local merchants my money.

I probably have to buy milk, bread etc locally. Hard to get around that. Obviously have to buy fuel locally too. In those cases I can select the companies that are perceived to be the most conservative.

This idea can work. I buy everything from Amazon, I wonder if I can find out what state I'm dealing with...

I recall when Colorado voted against homosexual marriage and the homos called for a boycott. I was spending my annual budget for a lab that I supervised at the time. I spent it all in Colorado. I wasn't the only one because Colorado went into an unexpected boom for no reason that anybody could discern.

I buy almost everything online except gas and groceries although my state is Red - so far. I'll just have to monitor which state it's coming from. I'm not sure what to do about Amazon since they are based in CA.

Amazon folded and agreed to charge state taxes so John is right about using Ebay where possible. Private web purchases can work too.

My concern is that Obama will use federal funds to bail out the socialist states. I can't think of anything that would prevent him from doing that. Obama is beyond any limitation now and can completely violate the constitution as he pleases. He is going to become incredibly imperialistic and dictatorial. This is going to be a period in American history that has no precedent and it will alter the perception of America as an example of freedom for as long as any records are kept.

What do I mean by that? Oh, something like Holder having Issa arrested on manufactured charges. Charges prepared against George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Election results in Colorado and Washington state being overturned in court. America may support the Islamists to force Israel to turn Jerusalem over the the Palestinian Authority. The regime will almost certainly come after gun and ammunition sales in a big way. I think we'll see them simply ignore court orders on various issues. Harry Reid has already threatened to change Senate rules to prevent the Republicans from filibustering legislation.

Just think of it. America has voted to support Barrack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. This is why people like pspr are saying that "it is over". It really is over in a big way. The fat lady has sung.

  7. I realize it's insane and will not make a difference but already got calls from 2 local charities.

I politely explained to them that I would no longer give to blue state charities so don't bother calling back.

1 women who was white actually applauded me, the second a Hispanic didn't seem to get it.

let's see if the left can support itself. I doubt it.

If you're in a red state the blue states are already "picking up the bill". But please, amuse yourself.

Just curious, but is this why California is going bankrupt? Because they're picking up, say, Arizona's bill?
