  8. I wrote about SAMC a while back. Its now broken out and moving up.

The last time I was on a plane it was packed full of people toting carry-ons. There are people with carry-on type luggage all the time in Manhattan wheeling it around. The only people who get it right in the luggage biz is Samsonite.

Dont forget that 44% of SAMC's business is done in Euros.

  9. topdown

    topdown

This week's Barron's Interview (Peter Siris - Guerrilla Capital Management) mentions a few Chinese OTCBB picks that may be worth a look:

    CSCT - China Security
CHCG - China 3C Group (consumer electronics retailer)
    GSHO - General Steel

GSHO is very thinly traded and looks to be flat-lining since April. The other 2 are certainly volatile if nothing else.

I'm most intrigued by the CHCG pick. "Best Buy of China" - 500% sales growth - recently signed a supply deal with Best Buy. Trading at a 2007 P/E of 11.

He also makes a case for a couple of titty bars, RICK and PTT. Didn't Peter Lynch always say "invest in what you know"? Might need some further research.
