Hey, thanks, I hope your day worked out a little better than mine! As it turns out I had the right idea this morning, but was just too early to the party. I would be lying to say that I wasn't disappointed today because even though I didn't break any rules, it did suggest a few things for me to consider over the weekend. Other than that, I am quite happy with the past two weeks. I have stuck to my plan each day, and I can already see and notice improvements with keeping my emotions in check and following my plan. I had a shaky first week of trading, but the important thing is that I have seen constant improvement each week, and I am fully committed to continue to improve and change my previously learned behavior. Becoming profitable is such a huge emotional and psychological challenge, and I always knew that, but things are becoming so much clearer to me now. So many things have 'clicked' for me recently, and I'm very excited about the future. EDIT: I wanted to mention that the first trade I placed was ok, but the second trade exposed a bit of a hole in my plan, and after a bit of time to reflect, I realize that it wasn't a good trade for a couple of reasons. A positive to take away from this is that I learnt a valuable lesson this week in these losses from today, and I was still able to stay positive for the week, so I have no complaints! Congrats on positive week! Even though I was mostly wrong in the second half of the day, I still made money. Any day when I book 4 ticks minimum is a good day .

^ Thanks, and you too! I started trading this account August 8th, and I'll post a screenshot of the month's performance. I don't have commission included because for some reason it counts it twice, so I left it out. The numbers are not what they should be as the first week of trading was a little erratic. The second week I had some bad luck but followed my plan, and this most recent week went well overall. I'm looking forward to being able to post better numbers for September! I'll also post an equity graph of the account as well. Now I'm not posting the equity graph to brag about my account size, and I hope any of my fellow ET members don't feel intimidated by it. So you are not alone I'm going to start posting my results as well. We are on the same journey just different markets. I trade currencies, i only trade 9 of them. I am a swing trader, so I will only post monthly results. For the year 2014 January + 3.46% February -22.56% March - 3.38% April -32.41% May - 18.77% June + 1.59% July -22.15% August - 12.08%
