Down 6% on the journal period. I was up today (3%). I have to enter into arbitration on the box arbitrage liquidation, so there is no way that I am staying with IB. I am doing a liq and wire out this week. Does anyone know of any margin IRA brokers with decent rates and metrics akin to IB’s PA? I am traveling for the week.
https://eroomsecurities.com/#brokerage Their website says one can trade multiasset in single platform and account. Their requirement for portfolio margin is $250k. Not sure about they allow IRA type of account. I believe @FSU trade thru' their brokerage.
Our IRAs are cash accounts right now but we are very close to IRA margin. I'm hoping for sometime is Feb 2019.
We offer Futures IRA accounts with the same margin as a regular futures account but you must use a self directed IRA company like Mindaland IRA. https://www.midlandira.com/ I would be reluctant to offer excess leverage for day trading for a Futures IRA.
We do not have Universal accounts. Even if we did, and we hope to before year end, futures accounts even when they appear to be one account with your equity account must be keep separate by NFA/CFTC rules in a seg account and based on a different rule set. Sorry for the long response. Futures margin can be similar. IRA margin in a security account will always have limitations. You can't use Midland IRA to open a risk based Securities account directly.
+4.49 from inception (Jan 4). I've wired out of IB so I'll try and continue with another broker. Feel free to post yours. I'll post positions when I can.
