Set-up spybot to run on startup, usually what happens is the spyware is also running in the background when Spybot runs its check and Spybot cannot stop the process from running. Running it first thing on start-up usually will ger rid of these types of programs.

Hmmm, you should be able to look in the tools section and check Run on Startup, but looking at my new version it does not have that option. Sorry. I thought it did.
