Well unfortunately I got nothing last night, as usual. All this work and no pussy makes me a very dull boy. Hopefully, today will go really smoothly in terms of my trading. Yesterday there just weren't that many opportunities, and the choppiness was just ridiculous. Good luck to everyone today, let's get out there and make some moolah.
Don't let those first couple days get ya down, you are still ahead of the pack. I am 19 and enjoy watching your trading mindset/thought-process. Right now, I am trading equities based on S/R breakouts and patterns. For me, setting and keeping stops is the hardest part. Just be dedicated to winning, follow your guidelines, and make some good trades today. Are you off to college this fall or next? Haha, if the girl situation is a little rough right now, college life can absolutely turn that around quickly
Man, the one good opportunity I had so far today I didn't have the balls to pull the trigger. I realize this is my main problemo... anyone else struggling/struggled with such a problem?
Scared money never wins. Either reduce your trading size, find a slower market, or get more trading capital. cheers cm69
.......... Well guys, it's been a shitty day. I like I mentioned in my earlier post today, I didn't have the balls for some reason to pull the trigger on my setup, which I have attached here on my chart. I also made the stupid mistake of being a nervous fuck and exiting a trade before my SL was reached, and had I waited literally ONE fucking minute, I would have had a very sweet profit. I made 5 trades today, and lost 95 + commissions. Anyways, as you all also know it's been a VERY shitty week. My loss was -$395, plus a ridiculous commission of $4.8RT. And my dad never talked to the bastards about lowering it. Anyways, I made 24 trades this week. If you guys can get the math right, that's -$510 lost in a week. Also that equates to 68 HOURS of my very boring job at CVS, all wiped out. I honestly don't know if I can do this anymore come monday, It's like I know what to do, but its possible that once again I will have troubles pulling the trigger.... I'm just kinda mad and sad at the moment.... I will think this weekend over if I want to do this again on Monday, because these losses are adding up too damn quick. The only GOOD thing about today was that I ACTUALLY stuck to my stops for the first time (no more than 2pts) I'll reiterate what I said, I will think about this, and maybe I will come back on monday. You guys know that the first 3 days of this week were just plain stupidity, yesterday I broke even, and today, there might have been stupidity involved but I think it is fixable.
