My goal is to make at least 30% per month

  1. You cannot answer a question with another question. But nowadays there are no more so many losers left that someone can profit 30% month. Market is filled with algos, pros and a few surviving retail traders who know how to trade and risk. Idiots meet ruin in a few days and market is fast with that, algos are hungry cannot wait.

  2. One of the 'market wizards' did make 25%/month average but he used to run the account up to a certain size then buy treasuries and start again but the 25% is/was possible. Can't even remember what he traded.

  3. Nothing of this sort last long. For how long did he profit and did he lose it back after a while? Need more info. There are always exceptions and luckier traders.

  4. That was his 'long term average' when he was audited in order to run other peoples' money,I believe. It was one of Schwager's earlier batch of books (I think) but he did mention it in a lecture so if I find it I'll post it here.(Might be a while).I've got a feeling it was the future trader who was an artilleryman in Vietnam.Schwartz? something beginning with S I think.Marty Schwartz if there is such a person.Haven't watched it but the intro mentions 'one trader who made 25% /Month for decades so it's there!

I didn't answer your question but was asking for clarification. So how much one can profit today from the losers?

What's Steve Burns's net worth? What part of it comes from trading?

Do you realize that to get triple digits returns Steve Burns should allocate for each trade a very small capital compared to options premium. This means he somehow found a risk-free way to make money. Good for him & for you.

He makes 100%+ returns buying weekly OTM options. And marsman will make 100%+ returns selling weekly OTM options.

That makes sense then. You just need to buy and sell option premiums at the same time, easy money.
