TST 150000 combine intraday drawdown is 3000. You trade 10 NQ, it is like trading 1 ES with $200.
    Calling you gambling is understatement.
    You are buying lottery.

Also TST 150000 combine has a profit target of 200% , with a monthly charge of $375.I do think there are many traders who can pass in one month. For average trader who can pass, 3 months would be reasonable, so it will be a total of $1125 fee. If you pass you get $4500 funding. I don't see value here. Myforexfunds offers same funding for $224 fee instead of $1125.

$400 "buys you" 200 MNQ points of real gains/losses instead of fantasizing in a sim account with stupid unrealistic goals and rules run by stereotypical market grifters.

  4. Hopefully it doesn't. That's what got us into this mess in the first place.

BTW, what is "combine"... some sort of trading? Real money or sim?

  7. I was bored during lockdown and opened a $1000 etrade account where I've turned $1k into $5k trading the penny stocks. I still have a penny stock trade open but I don't day trade them. I presume etrade offers micros? I've tried for years to trade forex and gave up (hence the move to penny stocks). I went back to TST out of boredom with my mornings free from work. Are micros the better option for me?

Let the kid dream. At the end of the day the size of your risk is all that matters regardless of the margin used. Most folks can’t handle that but some can. Only one way to find out. The issue with TST is the drawdown doesn’t scale so you get a bigger account and more contracts to trade yet the drawdown allowed doesn’t correlate. Newbies see the size and get sucked in while ignoring the most important factor. The amount risked.

All I saw were excuses which tells me he isn’t ready. Trading is a reflection of oneself and and forces you to work on issues buried deep inside . Until one learns accountability they will never achieve long term consistent profitability

Depends on your strategy. If TST micromanagement risk control is causing your issues, then why not tweak your strategy with real money on the micros. To me TST might would be useful to some, not because of the lure of trading real money for them but because it forces one to some accountability with skin in the game. Basically one step above sim trading.
