  2. Cheers.
I've just noticed another important shakeout :( The alerts (on trendlines or any other conditions) are now disabled in both versions if using BATS. Damn. How can they cut functionality for the customers who once had it.

  3. I know it is kind of an old thread but... which charting software would you recommend then?

  4. TC2000 was addictive, the UI is really good. Finally got rid of it in favor of TradingView* Pro. They have lot of tickers (stocks, fx, futures, economic). They miss few market symbols and many important market underhoodish tickers including volatilities are only EOD(!), so there's a price. But the UI is strong, configurable enough, can be run anywhere, with far more exchanges connected. What is great is you can make +-*/ ticker combinations. UI is even faster, fetching is little bit slower. No options. But I never saw options in TC2000, since I was forced to use v12 due to their anticustomer policies. They shook me out - well done.
*I knew them for a long time, until I realized, hey, this can actually replace TC2000.

The new TC2000 V17 is much better. It now has advanced formula language (almost like Metastock), smart scaling and cloud support (sync websites with active symbol).
Of course you have to pay $15 for real-time data which I think is not a big deal if you are using it to make money, not just look at pretty charts.
