Now that taxes are almost due, I find myself awash in vivid images of escapism. I want to one day trade from an amazingly beautiful beachfront property in Bermuda, paying as little tax as possible, and relax on my panoramic veranda, watching, hearing and feeling the ocean waves and breeze roll in. The air would be sweet, the dusk temperature in the low 70s, and I'd be drinking something that was very cold, and contained fresh lime juice.
Personally, I've been dreaming that one day the IRS will be abolished, April 15th will merely be another fine spring day, and we will have a national sales tax, so that we don't have to experience this nightmare every year. Oh well, you're dream will probably come true first.
