Ok, I have a Jack Russel Terrier. It is arguably the smartest dog breed on the planet. I have more examples of this than I can count with my dog. However, there is one that is a bit strange. My dog knows when I have stopped working. I am not kidding. He won't "say" a thing when I am trading, but gawd forbid I go and lie on the couch and watch tv or read after work - I get nothing but grief about getting my ass up and going to the park or the dogie beach etc. Now, I am not surprised that he knows that I am done working because I have the TV on and the bell rings at EOD, and I am not surprised that this dog has made this correlation, or it could be that I walk from one room to another, or both together. But why is work in his head categorized so important that he leaves me alone during work hours, and not leisure? nitro
