so today we have a POC of 1311.25 and high volume number at 1311.75 and overnight high of 1312....so I like this particular trade of your today..I think they will test the 1307 area personally .....the Va high is 1314.75 and the R1 for today is 1315.75 so that would be a good secondary sell zone ...we shall see..good luck..
We'll see. It does not look too promising though-- especially since GS made a new high. I have noticed that you can trade ES based off of GS pivots and signals. Could it be that if GS has a lot of buying to do, they buy GS before they buy other stocks?
I wouldn't be surprised if we close above yesterday's high today. Tomorrow is a different day. My paper-trading hasn't been going too well either. I think I'll give it one more shot. I just opened a paper-trading account with IB and I'm going to see what my results will look like in April. I think I have figured it out this time, although I have been saying that for the last few months.
GS is finally trading below yesterday's close. Let's see if the ES makes another low here. low of the day is 1306.
Wow! Less than 10 secs after I hit the submit button, ES is at 1305.5. When I was writing it, it was 1307.5.
This is it. Follow it or fade it. My indicator says: SELL---SELL---SELL. The VR for tomorrow is 1315-1316. ES is currently at 1308.25. If we open around 1308, I'll look to sell around 1311. If we open below 1304, I'll look to sell around 1306-1307. If we open at 1300 or below, I'll look to sell around 1304. This is probably the most powerful sell signal I've got. Do any of you do an inter-market analysis between the bonds and S&P? Do you see any resemblance to 1987? Only time will tell.
My approach is basically trying to buy/sell retracements and try to catch a long wave. This is what I discoverd by going over the past few months data. If I get a Sell signal in the morning, compare yesterday's close to day before yesterday's close. If close yesterday < close day-before yesterday and price is below the VR------SELL If close yesterday > close day before yesterday and price is above VR----- BUY. In other instances, buy yesterday's low and sell yesterday's high. That's how it played out in Jan, Feb, March. Good Luck and Good Trading.
Here are the MP numbers will use these as stop points depending on where the market opens. VAH: 1312.25 POC: 1311 VAL: 1307
ES is currently at 1305 with about 28000 contracts changing hands. If you're long just get out. If you want to add a short position 1309-11 seems like a good number.
