Hey if you're down $1400, and you only started with 25K.... don't violate the Pattern Day Trader rule. They'll down your game if you make three round trip trades tomorrow with less than 25K in there. You probably know this already but just in case....

Thanks Van, do know this, and received the notice after close like clock work, so stuck to only closing transactions.

 

No trades today, account restricted to close only.
Carrying a loss of $2,000 now, because I like pain.

If you want to live as a day trader for more than 1 month;

1) Trade one contract for 2 years. You can make a few hundred a day every day if you're good and scale up after that.
2) Trade only between 7 and 1200. By noon you're either flat or holding.
3) Have 3 reasons to enter a trade. Try to trade with daily trend.
4) Only enter at the edge of a range.

 

What do you mean by:
