My solution was to fully automate. Once I turn on algos, I only intervene if there is a tech glitch, otherwise hands off. Algos have no fear or greed. Totally flat over the weekend.
Curt, I agree. That is a piece of it. But there is more, too. Like when someone is successful on the simulator, then goes live and blows up. Even when trading a little. The "issues" are deeper. My opinion is they need to be dealt with. And many people don't want to do that. It's hard and uncomfortable!
well. it works for some people. One of my traders friend also automate his trading. many times, due to fear, he overrides the automation and started to do crazy thing.
