My Covid Infection: Lessons learned

  1. Actually that is just classic natural selection.

The species is just finding a strategy to pass its genes along without regard to whether that makes them stronger or weaker in the eyes of homosapiens. Sometimes that is hard on the humans, sometimes not.

  2. We did order and receive said tests. However we ran out! Besides, my roommates were not doing the tests correctly. The swab that goes into your nose needs to go deep and significant pressure applied. One of my roommates had all the symptoms of Covid tested negative on his self administered test. So with his apparent false negative, he continued to travel the country using free employee airline travel to go to dance competitions. What a stupid, irresponsible shit. Even having a cold or flu, one has on obligation to avoid giving it to others, in my opnion.

With all due respect, how do you know it was Covid without being tested for it? How do you know it was not RSV (viral), which is just as nasty, or maybe Cotton Fever (bacterial) if you use needles for heroin or diabetes injections?

I watched someone I know catch cotton fever, and his experience was just like what you described. Without a test you will never know.

  5. While I can say with high confidence I had Covid, I can not say I am absolutely certain. Even testing does not provide absolute certainty either way. We are in a Covid pandemic, it was likely I was exposed by my frequently traveling roommates who often attended large gatherings, I had very specific symptoms, including a light dry cough that led to my early concern that I had Covid even before the fever and headache developed. The Flu, colds, and Covid each have different symptoms and tend to progress differently.

  6. I provided specific detailds of my apparent Covid infection to lay the foundation for my conclusion: Lessons learned, third paragraph.

You cannot say this with high confidence without being tested. There are many other nasty virii out there trying to kill you. Look up RSV, it will awaken to the the non-Fauci world.

And we are no longer in a Covid pandemic. We are in endemic stage. Nobody is wearing masks, nobody is using hand-sanitizer after they get out of the public place...Nobody is washing their hands when they get home. And they keep rubbing their eyeballs.

We have Covid beat, and it is now going to become a flu-like deal. We won the battle. Pfizer or whomever is now producing a omicron variant vaccine that targets BA2. Whatever the fuck that is supposed to do, since we already have immunity to all the others.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that the most important lesson you learned, beautiful, was to get your vaccines as soon as you can!

you think tests are giving false positives if someone never had COVID?

  9. I apologize to you for not meeting your validation criteria for Covid. I fear I may have dishonored myself. Dishonored my family. Dishonored my country. Dishonored my species. Or not. Have to wonder though, how did humans survive before “Testing”, as in Antigen and nucleic amplification tests (NAATs) were available, which was not too long ago?

Who cares about the fucking tests. Just get the vaccine and you don't have to worry about tests. Unless ye be in a clinical trial, you just get the thing and live your life, like in the old days a few years ago, LOL!
