Clearly tighter controls needed <img src=http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/walt_disney/monsters__inc_/roz.jpg>
It's cool that you are working as a trader and still in college. Is the firm you work for a prop firm? http://www.commoditiesvue.com
*IF* your pay was or is dependent on HER performance, you need to find a different job, and learn that you should NEVER allow YOUR pay to be dependent on someone else's performance over which you have no control. That's just a rigged way to avoid paying others for what they earned if they have any losses. For them to give you and/or her a bonus based on how YOU performed would be considered completely normal, but I have NEVER heard of a company that bases employee's pay or bonus on what their BOSS did, LOL. That would be just plain ridiculous. The other thing you said that was odd there was that it was the money earned over 4 months... Are you saying you haven't been paid in 4 months? To be honest, the whole thing smells like a scam to me at this point...
we can stop wondering in speculatio for it answering this hydro's lot would clarify quite a few things..
was it your mum? sounds more like your mum trading from home while you went college etc.. just can't imagine what serious trading desk would have such a ridiculous set up.. chekin P&L on the net? wtf?
SocGen. Seriously, if the plan has always been to take risk manged euro dollar positions and then you boss decides to gamble on S&Ps on a whim, see needs to be shown the door.. or atleast moved out of that position. If she keeps her job then you need to find another one..
Without a doubt. This is not a situation that calls for an accumulation of 3 strikes before being called "out".
quite frankly,i do not uderstand why you are still mad. after all,it was'nt you who made the bad trades,it was your boss. is your salary tied to the performance of your group?
