Well I am going to start making guesses. I'll keep a running tally and see what happens. No rules other than the 'market calls' will have to be made in advance - and you all can keep me honest. No fudging or close ones - right or wrong.

Here's the first in this (worthless?) exercise:
1) Dow 8400 before 9400.
July 11, 2003 --- 1 pm
Dow Currently @ 9120
9400-9120 = 280
9120-8400 = 720

Reward:Risk = 18:7 (2.57)

Incorrect: 0

2) SPY 95 before 102.
July 11, 2003 --- 2 pm

SPY Currently @ 100
102-100 = 2
100-95 = 5

Reward:Risk = 5:2 (2.5)


Correct: 0
Incorrect: 0

 

1) Wrong.

Correct: 0
Incorrect: 1

I'm generally looking for upward movement from hear to the election. But, I would think there would be some type of retracement before then - maybe even into the 8000's.
