  2. Again...it seems that my "gospel faith" in multi-timeframe analysis has gotten me.

Good news: I think I narrowed down my MAIN trade execution strategy

Bad news: I still have a ways to go with my trading...scratch that....overall psychology

I have approx. 2 months in living expenses so I need to hit the gym more and get my old "physical strength-helps-overall mentality strength" lifestyle

I think I'm getting close to that "line in the sand" that made me quit cigarette smoking 7+ years ago after 20+ years of smoking.

I have traded both NQ futures and traded US100 on Forex. There is no difference unless you are trying to just do small point scalps then futures has the edge there because of tighter spreads. If you are trying to make 10 to 100+ points then there is no difference--at least on challenge/funding platforms as far as getting in and out and there is a big advantage on Forex that you can do whatever lot size amounts you want on opens and closes (with most brokers on challenges/funded accounts) whereas on futures (whether regular or micros) you either have to trade in 1 contract increments (meaning you either have to do a 1 lot or a 2 lot or a 3 lot or 4 lot --etc) - compared to Forex where as an example you could open at 0.18 lot or a 0.05 lot or a 0.17 lot or a 2.31 lot--etc and scale in to add or scale to close in any size subject to available margin

One thing I have noticed ...
You make a lot of round turn per day,
Enough to wipe out (sometimes) 500$ worth of profit.

You average 1 or 2 (ES) points per contract in gross profit.
Why even trade the 3 sessions ?!

You can't be 200% focused for 10+ hours.
Personally I am 200% focused for 90min after RTH open.
Mistakes happen when the willpower is low ... During an endless battle.

Don't dig yourself into a hole. Either Fly or ...
Stay in a strong position to fight a weak opponent.
If you get weak or it gets tough then take a little break.

You're the only one to be afraid of.
    The market doesn't defeat us,
    We defeat ourselves !

My only advice would be to trade less.
    Trade only the best setups.
    Patience is a virtue.

No trade is OFTEN the best option.
    Trading should be the exception.

    Keep up the good work,
Pretty sure it's going to pay off.
The investment is worth its weight in bananas.

    Don't hurry.
    It's a marathon !

  5. Things change...priorities get adjusted....and hopefully bad habits concede defeat to the necessities pre-requisite for success.

I recently found out that I have early/mid-stage glaucoma.

Chalk it up to thousands and thousands of hours of screen time....and banging my forehead *HARD* at least 100 times during my initial learning stages/losing serious money stage.

I see it as a blessing. In 2018, I did not have glaucoma. Fast forward 5 years, I do. The alcohol did not help. The self-defeatist attitude did not help. But I never gave up.

Lost my job. Fighting an eviction.

This is the crazy situation I prayed to the UNIVERSE for. This is the only way my stubborn mind will change and realize my full potential.

I have a few weeks until my next housing court date so time to get my shit together.

  6. Commissions have largely offset profits but it's worth it for the ability to scale in and out with less fear/greed

After nearly busting my evaluation in late March, I've managed to regain pose. Only been a few days so I still have not managed consistency but I truly think that my health issues have helped my trader mentality.

  7. Past few weeks, I've been in a nice rally mode. Obviously, a few weeks does not a "trend" make but the X factor has been finding out that I have glaucoma. Going blind has been the best thing to happen to my trading. With discipline and good diet and regular workouts.....I can delay blindness for a few dozen years.

Started this journey in earnest 10 years ago. I say 20 years but that does not truly qualify since I didn't know shit back then. I still don't know shit now....but I don't know "less" shit now. lol

I'm estimating 4 more weeks to reach the $9K profit goal - I'm not trying to hurry this. Since my financial situation is dire, I need to be even more patient and disciplined. I love the fucking pressure!!

"I love the fucking pressure!!" It's amazing how we love the pressure cooker. Like being a Navy Seal under fire. Rely on your strategy!
Nice work. Hope your eyes stabilize.

  9. Thanks, ZTrader888!

Unfortunately, I'm just the type of person who needs pressure in order to "start" performing to my true potential.

Thank you for the kind sentiment on my glaucoma....1 more challenge that I really need right now, right? lol

  10. I think the reason I like the pressure is because the truth is that I pray to GOD that he makes me blind now that I have glaucoma...and I dare him to do it so that I can finally believe that he actually exists
