Well, it shows a balance of 150991.14. So the PnL should be 991.14 minus commissions. How many contracts did you do it with, and with which instruments?

  2. Alright.

So I have sent out dozens of resume emails the past few days.

Received interview requests. Had 1 today. Received an offer doing beverage sales mainly in NYC. Very small salary but since I have guaranteed housing until the end of September, I should be able to save at least a few hundred. Also within that time because of the psychological comfort that comes with knowing that my basic living needs will be financially met, I should not have the mental breakdowns such as have occasionally happened in the past 40+ trading sessions.

I can get back to looking at larger TFs with more generous stops and smaller positions.

My life may have taken a good corner.

During the past 3 months since my latest job departure, I have been able to fine-tune my trading strategy and now it looks like I can get back to more of my swing trading style of holding for hours.

Thank you to all your ET posters who gave me minutes of your life whilst you were typing your responses and thinking of me in your gracious wishes.

I realized that for the past 40 trading sessions, keeping everything bottled up......this week was the blow-top.....I guess that is why humans are social creatures and need social interaction - regardless of whether physical or cyber.

Anyway, thank you guys. I will continue to post my trading results.

    Good trading to y'all !!!

Be well man! Follow my advice! Get the HELL away from the prop firms, and build up a comfortable bankroll to work with a discount broker!

  4. I did like the trading experience with Tradovate...that is until I blew my account. Thankfully, it was not that big of a financial blow.

My plan is to keep my "funded account" to trade along my personal account.

As long a trader keeps leverage very low within a proven trading strategy, having an extra "funded account" just means a few extra keystrokes.

But, yes. The plan is to get my IB account nice and fat again.

    Thanks Brudah

Great, hopefully the reduced stress regarding your basic living financial needs will indeed help you trade a little more relaxed.

But remember this experience for next time, never again quit your job for an attempt to earn a funded account, never again quit your job to trade without having a proven profitable strategy for more than a few days or weeks and without an account big enough to support your lifestyle from the profits that you make.

  7. Had a last minute interview this afternoon and basically doubled my salary from the last job offer.

This will most certainly allow me to save up and stash cash into my own personal trading account.

Since this current E2T evaluation is already paid for, I will continue to trade it but from a swing trader POV.

Seriously. Thank you everyone for the emotional support. I don't even know how the past week went the way it did.....nothing about what expired the past few trading sessions make sense. I feel like Brad Cooper in Limitless when the NZT caused those "time skips.". Luckily I have something better than NZT.

What you did the last 48 hours shows that suicide is never a good solution. You turned around a dramatical and desperate situation into something positive. Let this be a lesson: never give up.

Always fight to overcome the problems... NEVER surrender. Because if you surrender you are really lost.

You will still encounter several different situations/moments before you will make really money, so always remember what you did to change the situation. And do it again if needed.
