thumbs up for Virtusa: So, Self, in your 10+ years of trading career, have you ever looked at your results in this way? Have you done any stat analysis of your strategy?
The first 10 years I needed to build a stable system that made consistent profits. So every month I analyzed my situation to find the weaknesses, the strengths and the failures of the system and of myself as a trader. It was a constant battle against the markets. It was important to me to see progress because if there would be no progress I would have to give up or start from scratch again. Some weeks things went very well and some weeks things went horribly wrong, but as long as I saw a solution to the problems I continued. Sometimes I had to change the system, sometimes I had to change how my own brain was functioning. I also could afford financially to continue a long time. So that helped me a lot because there were horrible periods that I lost almost all hope to ever make money. My stubbornness helped too. I was like a pitbull, I could not give up. Once the basic system was successful, my performance went up with big moves. The first 1 point ES profit per day was the hardest to obtain. The more points, the easier it became to improve. But the system became much more complex to trade from the improvements I made.
Self Made Dude please listen to what people are saying "in need of psychological help before worse things happen" unless you have some sort of dooms day wish.. wake up man, get some help this attitude you express is not going to get you anywhere... it seems you are managing hand to mouth and imagining that you will get steady income from such trading funding is dangerous,, and god knows how much you have already spent on Tests fees! are you for real?
Back then, 1 ES point is not the equivalent of 1 ES point today. In 2012, the average RTH range was 13 points. In 2022, the average RTH range is 84,50 points. So, the equivalent of 1 ES point today would be at least 5 points, I think. Would you agree? IMHO, the ES market changed a bit over the years as well. It's more of a trader's market these days.
Instead of OP just posting the daily totaled results on his E2T, the OP should also post the list of all trades that show the details of each trade: date/time entry price, entry SL, exit price, lot size etc. then it would be better for making analysis of what is going right/wrong
That rational strategy might not be on-brand for the OP. His goals appear more emotional than profit driven - an archetype "hero's journey" as it were.
Second USDCAD entry already in profit and at breakeven stop. I don't know why they don't listen. They want stats, they want proof. But the proof is in the logic, not the stats.

There is zero benefit on him posting entries/exits. There is a 100% chance he is overtrading, and flipping sides too frequently. His problem is psychological.
