My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

  1. Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, those technical differences are fine, my main concern is who is the most legitimate in terms being a true "talent seeker" so to speak. So, that you are not scammed for that monthly fee or in any other way. That they do make withdrawals and do actually want to find traders and capitalize them.

What's your personal take on OneUpTrader? Would you consider them on top of others?

  3. Yesterday was a nasty "non-disciplined" trading session. Started off +$500 from an early Asian session trade.

Then got cocky with the goal only $1,000 away so I just got into another trade and it went all downhill from there....was up all night watching my charts on my smartphone.....got maybe 30 minutes of sleep.....

What made it worse was losing a 1/3 on my brokerage account. That killed me since it is only a few thousand and my only source of income right now.

However, I guess I am a little more mature now as a trader since I did not physically abuse myself...rather bought a $30 bowl of KFC and 2 375ml bottles of liquor and went straight to bed.

Woke up this morning. Hit the gym. And now somewhat back to normal state of mind.

My E2T evaluation renewed this morning so I still have 4 weeks to hit the $9,000 goal to get funded.

    I. Got. This.

  4. Capture your trading journey on video tape. And post to YouTube, and all social media sites.
You will probably end up making more money from ad revenue and course and misc product sales.....than from actually trading,

A lot of people...love to watch, :wtf: :)

  5. Interesting thought. Never thought of doing that. Can you recommend another trading youtuber so that I can see what they are doing right. Thanks!

  6. Dude,

your expectations are too high. Most hedge funds make less than 10% A YEAR and underperform SP500 most of the time!
You need to let that sink in. There's a reason for this. If you were smarter everyone would throw money at you to manage like there's no tomorrow.

  7. Just literally record yourself trading and talking.
And post to YouTube, and every other social media site.

Before you know it, ad revenue is magically rolling in. Then course money, and product sales money, and subscription money.
Before you know it.....you've bought a home, and a Lamborghini.
Before you know it....you have a girlfriend.
Before you know it....it's already the end of 2022. and you have won the game of life.

  8. I do not disagree with you. It's just that I have literally taught myself for 20 years from scratch. Cost me a tuition of somewhere close to $100K when you calculate my losses, lost income potential (I was originally a business development analyst for AMLAW50 firms so a 6-figure salary was the norm) and the loss of relationships - both friendly and familial. I have to make my parents understand that I made this right decision to pursue this.

My strategy is very solid. I still have work to do on my psychology.

But the reason I got into this game. And can not walk away. Is that I will be one of the best traders who ever lived. First time in my life I feel so committed to something and have NOT given up.

I am sure that there are very very few people who have sacrificed what I have, and have given the amount of screen time that I have.

    I'm due.

  9. Thank you for the "food for thought."

    I will consider this...

  10. Dude.

You quit your day job to pursue full time trading with a brokerage account of only a few thousands which you lost 1/3 of in a day? An in addition you blew your evaluation account which you now resetted?

    You need to be realistic.

There are guys in this thread who responded to you who are trading a $500K account of their own money.

Here's the harsh truth: The market doesn't give a sh't about your tuition which you paid over the years. Nor does it care about your lost relationships, sacrifices, lost income or that you feel you now are "due". It doesn't work that way.

I'm not saying this to be a dick, I'm saying it because I don't want you to lose the money you actually have.

Now, maybe this motivates you to prove even harder to us that you can do this, but just don't.

If you want to trade "for a living" (bad idea anyway) you can't do it with a few thousands or E2T.

Get back to work and continue trading on the side OR save up capital such that you have enough to have at least a chance. Because right now you don't. I don't know anything about your trading skills, but trying to make a killing with a small account is not going to work out for you. Been there. Done that. Multiple times.
