MUST...SELL...MORE...WATCHES...

  1. The magazine was awful. I hate to see an honest business venture fail but yeah, that mag was shit and quite frankly gave trading a bad name. The ads made it seem as if your typical trader buys yachts and 25K watches. Laughable.

  2. it was targeted for the winners and /or high salary institurional trader types

losers could never afford nor want to have the things advertised.

obviously, someone buys this stuff and the marketers know it.

  6. I suppose that's the reason for the magazine's astonishing success.

  8. Maybe they could come up with a Ponzi scheme magazine, those guys appear to buy similar luxury items as that advertised in TM...

  9. the demographic was crushed in 2008.

more like the cutting of high paying wall street type trader jobs is the cause of the troubles.

i know its hard for you to believe, but traders actually buy the stuff in that magazine. maybe not elite traders but succesful traders.

  10. A fool and his money...

I guess the fool in question parted with both his money and his job, eh?

Conspicuous consumption is, by definition, fashioned to draw attention. Well, it has drawn that attention.
