Hi, Ca anyone tell me which are the must read books for a naive trader? The area doesn't matter much (Equity, FI, FX, Deri, Commodities, CDO's other derivatives).
I have a good library, and these are the ones that proved to be the gems: - Everything written by David S. Nassar (esp. "Rules of the Trade") - All the books written by Ari Kiev - "Trading in the Zone" by Marc Douglas - "Mindtraps" by Roland Barach - The "Market Wizards" series by Jack Schwager - "Reniniscences of a Stock Operator" by Jesse Livermore Edit: Oh yeah, and of course the wizards section on www.hardrightedge.com and the "Day Trading Fundamentals" Thread on SI (you need to be registered): http://siliconinvestor.advfn.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=15184479
I'm going to recommend my upcoming book, "An American Hedge Fund" (you knew I had to) I wrote it for beginners and veterans alike. Here's the latest review just posted last night: http://www.daxdesai.com/2007/07/24/book-review-an-american-hedge-fund/
lol you're right- that is a great book for a naive trader to buy. Ashu, btw type Timothy Sykes in search and read the threads to come to your own conclusions.
